Introduction
The Embeddable Design Studio (EDS) provides online, bespoke picture framing functionality to any web site into which it is deployed. Once integrated, the EDS will look and feel like it is an intrinsic part of that site.
Frames and mounts designed using the EDS on your site are manufactured by eFrame and sold by you to your customer at a profit margin determined by you. This is all transparent to your customer, as their transaction is with you, not eframe.
Frames and mounts can be designed around an image on your site and there is no need to download this to the eframe servers. Additionally, the EDS will allow your customers to design and order custom-made frames and mounts thereby providing you with a very substantial profit opportunity.
Once a user of the EDS clicks the Add to Cart button, your site will be informed of the details of the request so it can be added to your own shopping cart. When your customer progresses to make an order with you, your site will automatically (and invisible to your customer) place the order with eFrame. The goods will then be manufactured by us and...
- We send you the frame/mount to fit your own picture and send to your customer or
- We fit your pictures into the frames and send directly to your customer or
- We send the goods directly to you customer for them to fit the pictures you have sent them under separate cover (if any)
In order to deploy the EDS on your site, you need install 1 web page. All of the functionality of the EDS is then perfomed anonymously by the eframe servers.
The extent to you which you wish to integrate the EDS with your site will determine how much work is involved. As a minimum for a Javascript developer we estimate approximately 2 to 3 hours work.
